In memory of Stray.
A few days ago we found a sick stray cat at our front steps. I'm not sure why it came to our house, but we fed and took care of it for it's last two days. It passed away the second night it was under our care. Today we're taking it to a place to be cremated.

Some significances...
-We never really found out if it was male or female. We kept saying it was a he, but we really don't know. So even in this drawing, I tried to make it genderless.
-It was a long haired cat. Although it was balding and had matted clumps of fur.
-They're not full ears. It didn't have half of it's ears and whatever was there was pressed against its head. They were most likely frost bitten off.
-It never fully opened its eyes at me, except when it first saw me through the bushes. It just had the most beautiful blue eyes.
-It was deathly skinny... I was honestly afraid to pick it up because I was afraid I'd break something. The only part that was fully furred and healthy looking was it's head, which is why I didn't make the face look sunken.
-We found it lying behind our thorny bushes that are next to our front steps. That's pretty much what the bushes look like, except a little more full with leaves... but I didn't like it that way.
-Lastly, the long bushy tail represents what it once was. When we found it, it's tail was a big mess, balding and matted. I'm sure it was once a happy healthy cat.

Edit:
I realized now that the gradient and texture on the pic makes it look like a crappy scanned sketch, but it's not. It's how it's supposed to be.
